Iconic “Fenced” Shoot with Sandy

Gia Carangi & Sandy Linter

Unpublished January 1979

Inside Gem:

Sandy Linter was packing up her makeup to head home when Chris walked into the room and said “Sandy, I’d like you to stay and do some personal photos.” She said agreed. He left the room but quickly returned and said “nude”. She agreed again. He left the room again, and returned once more saying “with Gia”. Hair dresser Bob Fink looked over at Sandy with a bewildering look. She walked onto the shoot keeping her boots on. She and Gia proceeded to tease each other from opposite sides of the fence creating loads of playfulness and chemistry. This shoot became a breakout moment for both Gia and Sandy.
